Resource Partnership Development Coordinator

The Resource Partnership Development Coordinator for Mission Quest plays a vital role in advancing Mission Quest projects by cultivating financial partners, developing donor relationships, and helping secure the resources needed for ministry initiatives.
This is a support-raised position, meaning the candidate is responsible for building and maintaining a personal support team while also raising funds for Mission Quest projects. The ideal candidate is relationally skilled, mission-driven, self-motivated, and able to communicate vision clearly to individuals, churches, and ministry partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resource Partnership Development

Cultivate relationships with individuals, churches, and ministry partners who may be interested in supporting Mission Quest projects.

Communicate the vision, purpose, and needs of Mission Quest in a clear, compelling, and faithful manner.

Develop and implement a fundraising strategy for Mission Quest projects in collaboration with leadership.

Raise financial support for designated Mission Quest initiatives, campaigns, and project needs.

Maintain regular communication with donors and partners through updates, reports, meetings, and personal follow-up.

Identify new funding opportunities and help expand the network of Mission Quest supporters.
Administrative and Communication Support

Track donor relationships, pledges, commitments, and follow-up tasks using appropriate systems or tools.

Prepare project summaries, donor updates, presentation materials, and fundraising communications.

Coordinate with Mission Quest leadership to understand current project needs, funding priorities, and timelines.

Assist with events, meetings, presentations, or church engagements related to Mission Quest fundraising.

Maintain accurate records and handle donor-related information with discretion and professionalis
QUALIFICATIONS:

A mature follower of Jesus Christ and active member in good standing of a local evangelical church.

Demonstrated commitment to missions, discipleship, and the work of the local church.

Experience in fundraising, donor relations, ministry partnership development, sales, communications, or a related field is preferred.

Ability to raise personal support and cultivate long-term financial partnerships.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to cast vision clearly and persuasively.

Highly relational, self-motivated, organized, and dependable with strong follow-through.

Comfortable initiating conversations, scheduling meetings, making presentations, and asking for financial support.

Ability to handle sensitive financial and donor information with discretion and professionalism.

Comfortable learning and using technology, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office, project management tools, and communication platforms.

Willingness to serve under leadership and work in alignment with Mission Quest’s mission, doctrinal convictions, and core values.
